Out in the park it is still cool at a lovely, balmy 75°F.
The city down below gets ready for another busy day.
The perfect time for running. Everybody is out.
Before it gets really hot, we’ve all had a lovely time.

How long did you run? I am happy when I can walk for an hour. 😉
Well, as I had let this morning exercise slip for a while (not good, I know, and I hang my head in shame) William is starting me back up on a run – walk – run regime again, which slows him down a lot. The goal is to run for the whole hour again with just two or three walking breaks. After all, we are not 20 any longer and the park is not an easy level track. When we hike, we are always gone for hours and hours on end, but hiking is easier by a long stretch.
These young people in the photo – they are fit! They just go right by you and never stop. Imagine – all these teenagers, boys and girls, out in the morning for their exercise. That is just so great!
At my age, I just stick to walking. It would be too hard on my feet and hips to run. I think it’s great that young people are into exercise. It will make their lives so much better in later years, too.
Monday morning, I got up at 4:30 a. m., and idly checked the thermometer. It was 81 degrees. Sometimes, even at night, the temperature doesn’t drop below 80. It’s really getting old.
Don’t you think it’s time for some new photos of Julchen & Iko-Chan? You haven’t posted any in quite a while. I’m sure Julchen at least would be more than happy to pose for portraits.
As per your request, there’s a new Julchen post up.
