Mandoline. Makes slicing vegetables etc. so much easier. Daikon slices, uniformly so thin that one can (nearly) ready a newspaper through them, until now a nearly unattainable goal. Today we got a mandoline – at half price. Yeah! Next stop: Buddha’s Delight.
