This is progress indeed. Now for four more weeks with this contraption.

Sunday afternoons are a wonderful time to watch some competitions at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center.

This weekend it was the LAEC Opener Hunter Jumper Show and everybody had fun.

Not bad… not bad at all, right?

At least we spelled the name correctly (but this is an insider joke :-)).

But, poor darling – not like that – and not two days before our trip to Europe!

Shall we give it a try? Something good, something bad, sometimes happy, sometimes sad? Oh, you mean, the same old, same old… Okay, I am game!

When the resident squirrel turns up on your doorstep demanding a new corn cob,

one can understand Mr. Dangerfield’s cry of: “I get no respect, I tell ya!”

What’s next? Will the squirrel bring its big brother? Will it be armed? Will it start a protest on our front lawn?

Who knows… I better go and hang up another cob for the greedy animal.

A big Pick salami is better than a small one.

And 4 Pick salamis are better than one.
