I’m glad Dan’s out of there, even though the fires never get close to them. We are having a “cold snap”. The temperatures are only getting up in the 90s lately. Woohoo. We broke all kinds of records this summer for most consecutive days over 100.

I can understand your feelings re. Dan – even without imminent danger, it is an eerie thought to have a family member near such an area.
