6 feet tall, weighing in at approx. 140 pounds and cute as a (rather largish) button: Sofie, the baby giraffe at the Los Angeles Zoo.
Born on April 22, 2013, Sofie has only been on exhibit for a couple of weeks; and yes, even at 6 feet she is quite tiny, compared to her parents. But she’ll get there!
One more reason for me to get back to my habit of visiting the zoo at least twice a year. Beautiful!
Really, you should go, while Sofie is still “tiny” (by Giraffe standards 🙂 )
